About the Ohio Association of Rehabilitation Facilities
OARF's Mission
To strengthen the resources of Ohio rehabilitation facilities so that through effective and efficient operations they may provide high quality services.
Our Members
OARF is a rehabilitation facility membership based trade association [(501c(6) nonprofit]. Our members include Community Rehabilitation Program providers, hospitals, and freestanding rehab facilities. Member organizations typically provide one or more of the following: vocational rehabilitation/CRP services, physical, occupational and speech therapies, pain management, and services for the visually and hearing impaired.
Program Divisions
The Association maintains three service specific Program Divisions: Vocational Rehabilitation, Medical Rehabilitation (inpatient and outpatient), and Industrial (Injured Worker/Occupational) Rehabilitation. Members are encouraged to participate in more than one program.
Board of Directors
Each Program Division has a standing committee on the Board of Directors. Members with an interest in the program select the program committee chairperson who represents the interests of program participants via a designated seat on the OARF Board.
