I think I speak for all BWC employees when I say that the past year has truly been a period of turnaround. We all learned alot, we accomplished some major initiatives and BWC is a better place because of Bill's leadership.

As we transition to a new Governor and new administrator, we will continue the momentum we've gained in bringing value to Ohio's workers and employers. Governor-elect Strickland's office plans to make the permanent administrator announcement very soon. Until then, we will continue operations as usual. I was honored to be asked to step in as interim for this brief time period and I look forward to continuing to work with all of you and a new administrator as we begin this next transition.

Dear Friends:
Effective January 5, 2007, I am resigning as Administrator/CEO of the Bureau of Workers' Compensation to return to the private sector. Governor-Elect Strickland has asked Tina Kielmeyer to serve as Interim Administrator, until such time as he names a permanent replacement. It has been an honor to work with all of you, as we serve the citizens of Ohio. Together we created a vision that would restore trust and integrity to the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. During 2006 we made great progress in realizing the vision. Thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and kindness during the past year. I will miss working with all of you. Best wishes.
