Special Update, Wednesday, January 3, 2007, 1:44 pm STRICKLAND FILLS MR/DD POST Governor-elect Ted Strickland on Wednesday announced the appointment of John Martin as director of the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities and the reappointment of General Greg Wayt as Adjutant General. Mr. Martin has served since 1984 as the executive director of Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio, a non-profit service provider. Gov. Bob Taft first appointed General Wayt as Adjutant General on July 1, 2004.
